Q: How long does it take to get my building?
A: In NC, SC, VA and TN is 1-4 weeks, in PA, NY and OH is usually 2-6 weeks.
Q: Does my property has to be level?
A: Yes, it is crucial that the site is level. An un-level site may cause issues such as leaning of the building, entry doors not closing properly, and difficulty in squaring the building. So to ensure that you get the best our of your building it is highly recommended to have the site ready and level. Below its an example of level and un-level site.
Q: How many cars can I fit in my building?
A: Below is an approximate chart of what cars could fit in our buildings:
12' wide: Single Car, Truck or RV(for RVs the building has to be at least 11' high)
18' wide: 2 Compact cars, 1 full size truck.
20' wide: 2 Mid-size cars or mini vans.
22' wide: 2 Full size cars, Trucks or SUV.
24' wide: 2 Full or Oversized Cars or Trucks.
30' wide: 3 Mid-size cars or Trucks, 2 RVs.
Q: What gauge and what size is the tubing?
A: We have 2 different gauges, 14ga and 12ga. our 14ga is 2 1/2"sq tubing and our 12ga is 2 1/4"sq tubing. Both of them really strong and will meet any of your county's requirements.
Q: Can I get my own doors or windows?
A: Of course you can, if you have your own doors and windows just let us know what size you need your frame outs and we'll make them for you.
Q: How is my building anchored?
A: We have 5 different anchors for all types of foundations. REBAR ANCHORS, is our common 36" rebar anchor for ground, gravel and blacktop foundations. WEDGE ANCHORS, 8" bolts especially designed for concrete pads. WOOD BOLTS, 8" bolts especially designed for wood surfaces. MOBILE HOME ANCHORS, 36" spiral anchors designed for ground surfaces and for heavy wind zones. ASPHALT ANCHORS 36" arrow point anchors which has the same function as a mobile home anchors but this anchors are designed for asphalt foundations.
Q: How big do I have to make my concrete pad?
A: Concrete pads are recommended to be the width of the building and 1 foot shorter than the length of the building for example: 20'wide x 21'long. The concrete pad should be 20' x 20'.
Q: What is the longest panel you make?
A: 36' is the longest panel we make. Even though we can overlap our panels to meet the length you need without a problem we highly recommend that any building longer than 36' should be Platinum Style due to a low possibility of leaking in the overlap.
